These terms govern the use of CeevTech Brokers by an insurance brokerage (the "Brokerage") and its staff. By creating an account or using the service, the Brokerage accepts them.
1. The service
CeevTech Brokers, provided by CeevTech (info@ceevtech.com), is an online system for managing an insurance brokerage's clients, policies, accounting, renewals, claims, reports and premium comparisons. Each Brokerage gets its own separate workspace with unlimited staff users.
2. Accounts
The person who signs up becomes the owner of the Brokerage's workspace and is responsible for the staff accounts they create and the roles they give them. Keep devices and sign-in codes secure and tell us promptly of any unauthorised use.
3. Free trial
A new Brokerage gets a 30-day free trial with every feature.
4. Subscription and payment
- The subscription is priced per Brokerage, per year, with unlimited users and all features. The price depends on the Brokerage's total premium written over the last 12 months (see section 5), computed from the data in the system; a price is never changed without notice.
- Payment is made in advance. To renew, contact CeevTech: +96176940069 or info@ceevtech.com. Access is extended when CeevTech records the renewal.
- Payments are not refundable for a period already started, unless the law requires otherwise.
5. Plans, usage and end of subscription
- The plan follows the Brokerage's total written premium: the gross premium (as charged to clients, taxes and fees included) of the policies it wrote over the last 12 months. Commission is not the measure. Every plan is paid; there is no free plan after the trial. Per year (or per month, at one tenth of the yearly price): under USD 50,000 Starter, USD 120; 50,000 to 100,000 Bronze, USD 200; 100,000 to 250,000 Silver, USD 400; 250,000 to 500,000 Gold, USD 650; 500,000 to 1,000,000 Platinum, USD 950; 1,000,000 to 3,000,000 Enterprise, USD 1,500; from 3,000,000 Enterprise+, USD 1,500 plus USD 400 for every full USD 1,000,000 above 3,000,000 (yearly only). CeevTech may change these prices with notice; a change applies from the next renewal.
- A new Brokerage gets one 30-day free trial from the day its account is created. The trial is not repeated. To keep access after it, the Brokerage pays for the plan its premium puts it in.
- A paid plan runs until the last paid day, with reminders 7, 3 and 1 days before it ends. At each renewal the plan is the one the Brokerage's premium puts it in at that time, higher or lower. Growing during a paid period does not change the price until the renewal.
- Each plan includes a yearly number of free SMS parts to clients (Starter 150, Bronze 250, Silver 500, Gold 800, Platinum 1,200, Enterprise 1,800, Enterprise+ 1,800 plus 500 for every full USD 1,000,000 above 3,000,000). One part holds 160 Latin or 70 Arabic characters (153 or 67 each when a message is split); a message containing any Arabic character counts as Arabic. Beyond the free parts, each part costs USD 0.04, added to the Brokerage's account. Failed messages and sign-in codes are not counted.
- If access ends without renewal, the workspace is locked the next day: the Brokerage can sign in, see its subscription status, contact CeevTech to renew and delete its account, but cannot view or export data until it renews. Nothing is deleted: renewing restores full access to all of its data. CeevTech may also suspend a workspace (locked the same way) for non-payment or a breach of these terms, and will say why.
6. The Brokerage's responsibilities
- The Brokerage is responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the data it enters, and for the policies, receipts, notes and documents it issues using the system.
- The Brokerage is the data controller for its clients' personal data (see the Privacy Policy) and must have a lawful basis, including consent for SMS reminders to its clients.
- The Brokerage must comply with the laws and regulations applicable to insurance intermediation in Lebanon.
- No misuse: no attempts to access another Brokerage's data, disrupt the service, or send unsolicited messages.
7. Premium comparisons are indicative
Premium comparisons and quotes calculated by the system are indicative only. They are based on rates CeevTech maintains and may differ from the insurer's final offer. The insurer's official quotation and policy prevail. The Brokerage must check premiums with the insurer before issuing.
8. Availability, backups and data
We work to keep the service available and back up data daily, including off-site copies, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The data belongs to the Brokerage; it can export it at any time, and we delete it on request as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Lebanese law, CeevTech is not liable for indirect or consequential losses (such as lost business or profit), for decisions taken on the basis of indicative comparisons, or for data entered incorrectly by the Brokerage. CeevTech's total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid by the Brokerage in the 12 months before the event. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Changes and termination
We may update these terms and will announce significant changes in the app. The Brokerage can stop using the service at any time and ask for its data to be exported and deleted.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Lebanon. Disputes fall under the competent courts of Beirut.
